The TUM Blockchain & Cybersecurity Salon took place on May 27 and 28, 2025, at the TUM Institute of Advanced Study. The event hosted more than 25 speakers from industry and academia, as well as several panel discussions and a poster session for students, to explore advancements in blockchain and the broader cybersecurity domain. The Salon featured presentations and discussions on emerging security technologies such as Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP), and Secure Multiparty Computation (SMC), highlighting their roles in enhancing privacy, infrastructure security, and practical use cases. The Salon fostered interactive dialogue on open research questions and best practices, encouraging collaboration between academia, industry, and students.
